Exporting Customized Presentations

After the end user customizes a UGC template, is there a way for them to capture the animation to put on DVD? If not, is there a way to port the customized template back to Max (for rendering from a single camera)?

We've got a utility for generating AVI's from the Developer Suite, but it has limitations. The avi window is small and there is no fine control over the movie. You can only output to avi with it. We'll have a look and see if it's worth putting in the Dev Suite.

As far as porting a template back into Max, I don't expect we will be developing that capability any time soon.

I think an AVI would suffice - I was just thinking that if an end user had customized a template for a trade show they might want to create DVD's to also hand out to people. An AVI could easily be used to create a DVD.
