    Default Jumping ahead

Not sure if this the right place for this post.

The company I work for has purchased the Ignition engine to create virtual training sims. So far everything has been going smoothly. I have a background in 3ds max and using the exporter works perfectly. My boss would like me to package what I have created so far and send it to him. My question is. Where in the curriculum can I find how to take my ignition files and convert them to an .exe for him to install? Like the final Knightfall game. I tried IViewer, but he is unable to run the program. Knightfall installs and runs perfectly for him.

I appreciate any help I could get.

IViewer is not yet a released product. It's been in beta for several months now. As such, it is not included as part of the game curriculum. We have yet to determine if it will be included as part of the game curriculum at some later date.

That being said, I have a few questions:

    1. After you bundle your project, can you run the .exe on your system?
    2. What type of error message, if any, is your boss getting, and what operating system is he running?

Yes I can run the .exe. I am on windows vista x64. I do have to run it as an administrator for it to work though. My boss is running windows xp. Here are a couple screen shots of his error. image001.jpg

I may need you to send your project to me. Not the .exe, but the exported project so we can troubleshoot it here. If that is OK with you I'll set up an area where you can upload it. Let me know.

Ill talk to my boss and let you know. I don't see why there would be a problem sending it to you.
